Ahoy lovelies, now for day 10! Today there were many changes in the weather, from bright sunshine to heavy rain. We also had delicious food and our Code D (light wind sail) is now allowed to play along!
Ahoy, there's no audio file today. We're now 5 hours behind schedule in Europe, which is why we're only reporting in so late. Not much has happened today. Fishing is probably over for good. After we'd pulled our remaining line onto the rod, mounted the leader and the last lure, we immediately felt like we had to go fishing.
Ahoy lovelies, today was calmer, even though we are still sailing amidst high waves and lots of wind.

Another 20nm to Mindelo (Cape Verde), 800nm since La Palma. What a ride. Highs and lows are once again very close together. After the start, things got off to a bumpy start until we had the wind turbulence of the Canary Islands behind us. South of El Hierro, we thought we'd have to catch up with our Code-D because the wind was too strong.
