As a couple, it is very nice on the \"biosphera\", but sailing at night is also exhausting, as the shift changes are very short. We also want to exchange ideas, share our impressions and learn from others. We are therefore looking for our first fellow sailors from Gibraltar to the Canary Islands. (Later for the trip to Cap Verde and for the Atlantic Crossing too). As some of these routes are quite demanding, we would be pleased to have experienced sailors who can also keep night watches on their own. We are planning stops in Morocco to learn about the Arganeraie biosphere reserve. All nationalities, genders and ages are welcome. Are you interested or do you know people who would enjoy exploring the world of the oceans and biosphere reserves with us?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Trip A from Gibraltar from 6 September to Agadir<\/strong>with a stop in Rabat and possibly Essaouria (about 4 night trips)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Trip B from Agadir to Lanzarote from 23 September<\/strong> or another Canary Island (about 2 night trips)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The specified times may change due to weather conditions and other events, so we will remain in contact.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here are the conditions: We share the costs for harbour fees, provisions and diesel and are also happy to share boat costs on a voluntary basis. We expect you to participate in all activities, such as sailing, night watches, cleaning and cooking. We value good communication and humour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

About the boat: As you already know, we sail on a trimaran, a NEEL 43. The boat sails a bit like a normal sailing boat with a hull, i.e. we can also go quite high thanks to a keel and a lot of weight in the centre. However, the outer hulls mean that we have very little heel, i.e. we don't lean. We think it combines the advantages of a monohull and a catamaran quite well. The boat has a lot of open space inside and out, but doesn't offer much privacy. There are three cabins, which are more or less self-contained. There are also two single cabins that are really closed off, but they are only accessible from the outside through a hatch and are not suitable for people with claustrophobia. We have a well-equipped kitchen and a bathroom, which we all share. We have a watermaker (desalination plant), which gives us some flexibility with water usage, as well as plenty of solar and lithium batteries. We are equipped with Starlink to be able to see weather reports underway and stay in touch with you. The boat has all the necessary safety equipment such as life raft, fire extinguishing system, EPIRB and additionally a Garmin Inreach. We have a total of 6 automatic life jackets on board.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
