Die \u201eNaturinsel\u201c Dominica, die zwar kein Biosph\u00e4renreservat ist, jedoch mit dem Morne Trois Pitons National Park eine UNESCO-Welterbest\u00e4tte beherbergt. Dieser wurde 1997 als erstes Welterbe in der Karibik aufgrund seiner au\u00dfergew\u00f6hnlichen nat\u00fcrlichen Sch\u00f6nheit und biologischen Vielfalt (vulkanische Aktivit\u00e4ten, W\u00e4lder) aufgenommen.
